Yes, mine is Region 3 and it doesn’t work when I play it on my DVD Player because I’m from Australia BUT! If you have a laptop or a DVD burner/player on your computer, it works because Windows Media Player will ask you to set up the Region.
When you bought the DVD did it say that it was Region 3 ? I wanna buy it but it says that Region 3 DVDs only works in the South East Asia (including Hong Kong, S. Korea and Taiwan) .
Oh I see… becuz I was actually not planning to buy the Big Show DVD, becuz I can find it online. I wanted to save my money for GD’s Shine a Light. But then… After I saw the released date I thought: I got plenty of time to save for GD’s concert DVD!
Don’t worry, you will like it, especially the photobook. Technically, all the videos I uploaded are in the DVD and I think it took them long to make the DVD because I assume they were deciding if they should release it on DVD since it was showed on TV.

Yes, there’s English sub. The only reason why the English sub. is not appearing on YouTube is because the English sub. is separated from the video when I split it.
